I have a very slow internet connection. How can I improve its speed and performance?
-You can increase the Internet Speed as follows. Click on the Internet Button on the main screen. The Internet Booster Section will appear in the right pane. you can select one of the three options, DialUp, Lan or DSL. You can manually select the options or you can click on the Auto Select button to select all options. This sets the Maximum Transfer Unit for your internet connection.
My computer has 256 MB RAM and a 40 GB HDD with Windows XP. But it runs very slow. I fear it is due to memory choke up. How can I prevent it?
- Click on the memory button on the main screen. The Memory Optimizer section appears on the right pane. To optimize memory, select "Enable" check box and click "Autodetect" button". It will detct the amount of memory that can be freed. Click "Apply" button and then click "Optimize" button.This is going to optimize your computer memory.
How can we improve the cache performance of Windows 98?
- In order to improve the cache performance, Click on the Cache Button on the main screen. The Cache Optimize screen appears on the right pane. In this section, you can select, Asynchronous Buffer commit, Conservative Swap File, Optimize Cache Write delay ,one of these options will improve cache performance for Windows.
Can I view all the start up processes in my System?
-Yes, You can do this by clicking on the Process button on the main screen. The process screen appears on the right pane, that provides the current status of processes that are currently being run.
